RICCARDO
Education: Honours Bachelor of Arts from University of Toronto- Double Major in French and Economics. Currently enrolled in George Brown’s Sports & Event Marketing Post-Graduate Program. Anticipated graduation date August 2017.
Professional Experience: A start in Sports Management acted as a catalyst towards my professional experience currently. I started as a Basketball League Commissioner in my University, created a 16-team league within two divisions, weekly updates on statistics broken down per player, and created the inaugural UTM All-Star Basketball Game. Since then, I have worked within non-profit at Toronto Soccer Association as a District League Administrator, Ontario Soccer Association as a Field Convenor, and Mooredale Sports Club as an Assistant Manager of Sports. I will have the pleasure of interning at SDI Marketing in January 2017 on their Experiential Marketing Team.
Future Aspirations: With the skills that I develop within the next few years, I am hoping that I can take those assets and bring them towards a major sports team in the US. My long-term goal will be to work on the Marketing and Events team for my childhood football team, the New England Patriots.
Favourite Video Game: Ratchet & Clank- Up Your Arsenal. #PS2life
Sport of Choice: I cannot choose. It is too difficult. Top 3: Basketball, Football, Baseball
Interests: My interests include playing in adult recreational sports league (flag football, soccer, softball), working out, learning how to cook through watching my mom and nonna cook. Which woman wouldn’t want a guy who knows how to cook italian?
